Yesterday was the day again: our team took part in the B2Run company run in Düsseldorf in high spirits. Every year, the event is the perfect opportunity for us to test our fitness and strengthen our team spirit – all in glorious sunshine.
6 kilometers along the Rhine
The starting numbers were allocated in the office, after that we headed to the starting block next to the Merkur Spiel-Arena.
After our starting signal at 18:45, the B2Run took us almost 6 km along a picturesque route along the Rhine. The bright sunshine and great view of the river and the city made the effort (almost) forgotten. 😉
The highlight: Crossing the finish line in the stadium
The highlight of the day was the finish in the Merkur Spiel-Arena, the home stadium of Fortuna Düsseldorf. We were cheered on loudly by our fellow fans in the stands, which gave us the energy we needed for the last few meters. Our fastest finisher was Gil Albrot, who set a new BI2run record with a time of just under 24 minutes. Chapeau!
Conclusion: A successful day for our team
The B2Run in Düsseldorf was a complete success. Congratulations to all the runners who completed the 6 kilometers and many thanks for the support of our colleagues in the stands.
We are already looking forward to the B2Run 2025 and until then we will keep moving – both in terms of sport and team spirit.
